Summer Camp Experience
Not only will Capitol Debate students learn debating skills through our programs; they will feel an increase in self-worth, learn critical thinking skills and improve public speaking and communication skills with their peers. Two weeks at camp will result in lifelong friendships and memories that will resonate with our students throughout their academic, personal and professional careers.
Campers return to our program year after year because of how life-changing our Summer Debate Camps prove to be. Our parents will tell you themselves that they proudly stand by their investment in Capitol Debate because of the impact it has had on their families. We invite you to join us this summer to take part in this life-changing experience.
Established in 1956, University of Dallas is a private, independent regional university located in Irving, Texas that is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Capitol Debate is pleased to offer students the opportunity to attend a 2017 summer debate camp program right here at The University of Dallas.
The University of Dallas aspires to be recognized regionally and nationally as a liberal arts school and a first-choice institution for practice-oriented, professional business education.
Located in Irving, Texas on a 744-acre campus, in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The Las Colinas development is nearby. It is 10 miles from downtown Dallas. The campus consists mostly of modern, brown-colored rectangular brick buildings set amidst a native Texas landscape.

In 1989, it was the youngest higher education institution to ever be awarded a Phi Beta Kappa chapter.
Safety & Security
Capitol Debate will have a nurse available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, housed in the main residential hall. The school’s campus is one of the safest in the city, and those safety measures will be extended fully to our students.
There’s nothing better than hearing from someone who has experienced our camps first hand. We are pleased to share with you the comments from previous year’s attendees and their parents. Read University of Dallas Reviews
