This camp provides a good balance of fun and academics. My son learned a lot, made new friends, and would recommend this camp to others. The residential facilities at Babson are very nice and the staff is very caring.

Personal Development ⭐
We have two boys who attended camp for several years and have not only had a blast but come home each time as better men. They are growing up before our eyes and have gained confidence, independence, communication & writing skills and a love for debating. They work hard & play hard. They have lots of freedom in a safe environment and have maintained several friendships outside of camp. The various extracurricular activities (sports, movies and field trips) make for a nice balance & provided them with the break they needed.

I didn't realize how much I would miss this camp until I left on the last day. Truly amazing. Everything. I learned so much from this camp, and not just about debate. The instructors were dedicated and fun. I made so, so many friends here. I learned how to work with others, to communicate effectively, and so much more. This camp was a valuable experience.

Before Capitol Debate I didn't have many chances for public speaking, but during it, I was able to work on the flaws I had, like swaying and hand gestures, and improved a lot on my speaking. I now feel much better at talking in front of others confidently and am excited to participate in many activities in high school that require it!

Excellence in Action ⭐
I don't do very well away from home. I was very skeptical about coming to camp, yet I am a returning camper. This camp is just amazing. I learned so so much. My instructor this year, Doug Miller, was so amazing. I have been debating for three years, yet I learned new things that I had never even heard of. I can tell you that I improved by a lot at the end of this camp experience and what I learned will definitely stick with me forever. All my worries about debating in a high school debate league have definitely been reduced. But it wasn't only class that changed me. This camp is just filled with such amazing people that you can go to at any time. The instructors also teach us so much. Finally, Victor is just amazing. He cares about all of his staff and students and wants the best for us. He basically never sleeps to answer calls from parents and help students. He loves his job and it is definitely reflected in the way that he will stay up all night if you need help and if you are having a problem, he actually acts on it and fixes it. This camp was amazing and I definitely recommend it.
