Rachel Warnecke hails from Morehead, Kentucky and is a 12 time collegiate National Forensic Association (NFA) quarter-finalist and semi-finalist..Rachel is entering her 16th year of coaching and has made a career out of teaching the value of communication to America's youth. Currently, she is the head coach of Midwest Speech & Debate. In the past six years alone, her teams have had over 300 quarter-finalists, semi-finalists and finalists at the Middle School NSDA/NJFL National tournaments, earning them the prestigious School of Excellence awards. In addition, Midwest Speech & Debate has had quarter-finalists, semi-finalists and finalists at the UK Tournament of Champions, the NIETOC National tournament, the Harvard Speech and Debate Tournament and the George Mason University Patriot Games.Having earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Theatre from Morehead State University, and then her Master of Science in Communication from Illinois State University, Rachel strives for excellence in the field of public speaking. Rachel's philosophy is that if you can speak effectively, you will achieve success.Rachel currently resides with her husband Jeff and their two children: Drew, a varsity hockey player, and Emma, a competitive speaker . In addition to coaching Midwest Speech & Debate, Rachel also teaches public speaking and interpersonal communication at Jackson College and St. Clair County Community College. Though the family calls West Bloomfield, Michigan, their home, Rachel's heart will always be in Kentucky...a fact that is ever apparent during the collegiate basketball season. GO UK WILDCATS!
