Joshua has competed on the national level in Public Forum for the past 5 years. During his career, Joshua amassed 7 gold bids and 3 silver bids to the Tournament of Champions. His top accolades include advancing to the top 16 at the Prestigious Harvard and Stanford National Debate Invitational and making it to semifinals at the Cypress Bay Tournament. This has lead to him ranking as high as top 15 in the country for Public Forum Debate. As founder of the Towson High School debate, Joshua has extensive experience teaching and coaching novice debaters. He is excited to work with students of all skill levels this summer at Capitol Debate Summer Camps!

About Capitol Debate
Our Summer Camp and Year-round programs have helped build students’ communication and critical thinking skills, thus leading to better academic performance at school. The curricula of Capitol Debate debate camps is aimed to equip children with the ability to structure arguments, prepare debate cases, research evidence, write rebuttal briefs, deliver speeches and refute opponents.
