Camp Counselor

Callie Teague is a first-year student at the University of Oregon majoring in International Studies. Callie competed in both Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum debate for three years at Valencia High School in Valencia, CA. In her last two years, Callie served as the Lincoln-Douglas Debate captain and assumed the role of the team's president in her senior year. Callie has advanced deep into elimination rounds at national circuit tournaments, including most notably the Stanford Invitational, Jack Howe Cal State Long Beach Invitational, California Lutheran University Invitational, Cal State Fullerton Invitational, alongside a number of regional tournaments. In her senior year, Callie qualified to the state championships, where she finished in the top twenty of Lincoln-Douglas debaters in California. She has won a combined total of seven Top Speaker awards in Varsity LD and PF competitions. Callie is a Capitol Debate camp alumna herself (University of San Diego LD Lab in 2017) and is excited to join the Capitol team this summer!
