Extra-Curricular Activities to Balance the Rigors of Summer

Debate Camps

It isn’t all debating. Our Academic Camps Combine Studying and Recreation

Overnight camp at Capitol Debate is about more than course work. Your children are here to learn, and they are also here to enjoy summer. Classes are interspersed with extra-curricular activities. Your children will enjoy:

  • Guitar Hero
  • Video Games
  • Movies on Big Screen TVs
  • Playing Cards
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Local Movie Theaters
  • Swimming
  • Basketball
  • Pool
  • Foosball Tournaments
  • Sand Volleyball
  • Karaoke

At Our Academic Camps, Students Can Play and Compete In Class or On the Court

Public speaking for kids requires gumption. Public forum debate camps and middle school debate camps require preparation and organization. Writing courses require creativity.  Leadership requires all this. We recognize the rigors of summer academic camps. Our students get a chance to relax, have fun, and regroup everyday. They need to recharge before facing another opponent in the classroom, giving another presentation, or writing another essay.
