2025 VIRTUAL LEGAL COMMUNICATION CAMP

In the American legal system, great emphasis is placed on effective communication and persuasion through well-reasoned arguments. The Legal Communications course uses a mock trial format to provide students with an exciting and challenging medium for the development of speaking and presentation skills. Instructors will introduce concepts of the legal process such as case research, writing and presenting oral arguments, cross examination techniques, presentation of evidence, and courtroom decorum. Throughout the week students will prepare to participate in a virtual courtroom trial where they will apply the lessons they learned to confidently present and defend their case, argue against their opponent’s case, and use their communication skills to persuade the virtual jury they have the winning case.
