Loyola University's Columbia Graduate Center hosts our longest-running day camp program. The campus is the location for many of the University's graduate programs, including its Masters of Business Administration. It is situated in an industrial park, close to a local church, numerous restaurants, financial institutions, and technology companies. The Columbia Graduate Center sits directly beside a beautiful pond, which is visible from many of the classrooms and conference rooms. In 1949, Loyola grew beyond undergraduate studies and formed a graduate division. The graduate school now includes programs in arts & sciences, education, and business. It has grown to over 2500 post-graduate students, split between the Timonium Campus and the Columbia Campus.
Because the building houses the Sellinger School of Business MBA program, the classrooms are state-of-the-art, equipped with new technology, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, carpeting, and comfortable seating.
Loyola University was founded in 1852 by John Early. Since its inception, it has been guided by principles of excellence in education, an emphasis on liberal arts, and a commitment to educating the entire person: mind, body, and soul.

Capitol Debate is a great program for kids of any skill level, to improve their public speaking, critical thinking, research skills, and their overall confidence. We LOVE Capitol Debate. Attending the Capitol Debate summer camp every year has made such a big difference in Kevin's speaking abilities, confidence, and success at school! Thank you so much! :)
Capitol Debate has just the right amount of fun and learning; even class can be entertaining and it is filled with education and debates. The teachers are very thorough and the residential staff members are caring and fun.
Capitol Debate was my first debate experience and I think it provided a great gateway to my future debate career. The activities were great, the community was great, the material was great, the residential provisions were great, everything was solid in general. 10/10 would go again.
From the point of view of a parent I would strongly suggest Capitol Debate as a definite option.
Working at Capitol Debate is every teacher's dream: Teaching relevant, fun material to students eager to learn. It's a wonderful experience for everyone involved.
This camp improved my argumentation and speaking technique significantly and had a great impact on me as a developing debater. This was the best debate camp experience of my life compared to others. I definitely found my voice!
Our instructor was awesome, we had so many inside jokes that it became kind of a problem. Overall, we just had a really nice time.
I've improved on being a better debater, and being more patient with peers. This is a camp that would be recommended to anyone, because it fits all levels of debate!
My son absolutely loved the camp even though the work was rigorous and the hours long. He came away loving debate and wanting to excel in debate. Each day my son was excited to be at debate camp. The program is well organized, engaging, fun while at the same time the students are receiving a rigorous crash course in debate. He definitely will attend next summer.
It was an amazing experience that I haven't had before coming to this camp and I am grateful that I came and wish (hope) that I come again to maybe pickup new things or just learn to be better.
