Erin Pack is excited to join Capitol Debate! Currently, she is the policy debate and extemp speaking teacher/coach at Green Canyon High School in North Logan, Utah. The Central Texas native previously taught and coached at Princeton High School and Gustine High School in Texas, and Corner Canyon High School in Utah. Her students have won titles including multiple state championships and qualifications for NSDA, NCFL, and TOC in several different speech and debate events.
In 2016, Erin served as the Judge Chair for NSDA's National Tournament in Salt Lake City. She has also been awarded Rookie of the Year and Extemp Coach of the Year by the Utah Debate Coaches Association. She previously taught Extemp at the Beehive Forensics Institute at the University of Utah and served on the Women's Debate Institute Curriculum Committee.
She has a BA in History and a Masters in Social Studies Education from the University of North Texas. Erin recently earned the NSDA's Distinguished Service Gold Key. Outside of debate, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, writing, and baseball.
