Student, George Washington University
Cyrena Kokolis is beyond excited to experience her first summer with Capitol Debate! She is currently employed as an education intern at the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, and has previously worked as a counselor at Voorhees Theatre Company's summer camp, a year-round tutor for high school geometry students, and a lifeguard with the Sturbridge Lakes Association. She also has extensive experience competing and mentoring students in Model United Nations programs on both the high school and university level, serving as the Secretary-General of the 2017 South Jersey Model United Nations Conference and traveling as part of her university MUN team. Her participation on this competitive circuit has made her infinitely more confident and well-spoken in her personal and professional life, and she is eager to pass down the lessons she's learned to the campers at Capitol Debate. Cyrena is a rising sophomore at George Washington University in Washington, DC, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Security Policy and a minor in Geographic Information Systems.
