Director of Speech and Debate at A&M Consolidated High School, College Station, TX
When Brian Alford was a competitor in high school, he was a policy and extemp guy. While in college, he had a small company providing judges to tournaments and also consulting on the side. He has been judging speech and debate continuously since 1997. From 2013 to 2018, he was the Debate Coach and Assistant Forensics Director at Bowie HS in Austin. Currently, he is the director of speech and debate at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station. His team competes in Public Forum, Congress, Lincoln-Douglas, Extemp, and Oratory. His teams have been well represented at NSDA Nationals, TFA State, and UIL each year and have had success at national tournaments. Brian is passionate about debate and love teaching people how to make good, sound arguments and think critically.
