Program Overview

Public speaking school provides many benefits for children. It teaches the basics of speaking and voice control. It fosters your child’s innate communication skills and helps ameliorate the fear of addressing large groups. It grows their confidence and develops their self-worth.

These vitally critical skills can be brought to the fore by simple, yet highly effective communication methods. Our public speaking for kids teaches them to present before an audience using specific speech techniques — including vocal variety, articulation, and voice projection. By attending this academic camp workshop, children will lay the foundation for skills that will benefit their future careers.

How We Teach

We want our campers to learn by doing. We teach techniques, but we emphasize application. As students learn the tactics of speaking they always have the chance to try the theories they learn.

To grasp the techniques taught in class, kids need to try the techniques through exercises and application. Exercises are the best way to understand the concepts of public speaking. Seeing the theories work in application helps students understand why the theories work in reality.

What We Teach

Our public speaking school workshops let children learn:

  • Vocal Variety
  • Articulation
  • Voice Projection
  • Techniques to Overcome Anxiety
  • Organization Skills
  • Critical Thinking

We Make Make Speakers Better

Kids’ public speaking is a skill that helps them overcome reticence and timidity. It is a skill that should be taught carefully, with close oversight, to ensure correct technique. Our instructors are experienced speakers, teachers, and debaters; they have years of competitive and academic experience. Your child will be guided by gifted teachers who thoroughly know their subject. They advise, critique, and encourage our campers, showing them ways to apply the course materials and constantly improve their performance. Parents, your student will be become a better speaker.

Public Speaking Helps Kids Present Confidently in Front of Others

The purpose of this class is to give kids a strong start before they move to more advanced forms of public presentation. The instruction we provide sets the stage for higher level public speaking.
